In the streets of Harajuku, carrying an iced coffee beverage
skipped a platinum blond male wearing dark black shades that covered his eyes.
Despite his obvious male appearance, this man was very feminine looking. The
male’s bright red lips, which contrasted against his pale ivory skin, wrapped around
the clear cylindrical straw and inhaled slowly. Under the mound of whipped
cream and chocolate sauce lowered the blended coffee beverage. Emitting from
his baggy pant’s pocket came a happy, bright tune about a girl with Sakura
blossoms.
“Hello?” placing
his cell phone to his ear, his sweet, cheerful tone rang softly to the other
person that called from the other side. “Oh,
Yuki. What is it?” he stopped in his tracks, making the people behind him
have to walk around him.
Yuki sat at a bench on the side of the road, waiting for a
bus. He had a vehicle, but in order not to draw attention to oneself, he
normally took public transit. His short, textured, black hair layered around
his ears, almost blending with his large, black sunglasses. Though no one could
see, he looked over all the pedestrians, studying all of them to the bone.
“Yutaro what are you
doing?” He spoke quietly, questioning him. His deep tone was making this
like an interrogation. “You're what?
Shopping?” He sighed, sinking into the parallel beams of wood.
“Yutaro, I need to
talk to you.” He stopped, staring at the pedestrians on the street. He
squinted in attempts to heighten his vision. The pseudo better vision answered
the question in his head. “Stay there, I
see you.” He sat up, leaning his back against the wood boards. With little
patience, he hung up the phone and rose to his feet. Looking back and forth
down the busy streets, he started off; he interrupted the traffic, moving
through the vehicles much like the old video game, Frogger.
Yutaro had lowered his cell phone from his ear, holding it
innocently at his side before sliding it back into his pocket. He looked up and
around, slowly raising his straw to his lips again. His bright eyes behind the
dark shades lit up once he saw a familiar face.
“Yuki da!” he hopped up, spinning in the air. His arms were
stretched out, running towards Yuki, ready to hug him. When a hand rose,
keeping him at a distance from Yuki, he pouted and slowed his step to a slow
puppy walk. “You wanted to talk?” He spoke sadly; he was only being cheerful
before.
Yuki stopped, removing his shades by one arm of the metal
frame. Giving his lips a quick lick, he reached out and stole Yutaro’s
beverage, taking a sip. Licking his lips clean, he handed it back to Yutaro.
“Yeah you and Katori need to go meet Akira. Apparently aside
from what you and Raike are doing already, he wants you to do more.” Yuki
folded his sunglasses, clipping them over the button of his collar. “Its not
just you don't worry.” Yuki had noticed Yutaro looked nervous, worried even.
“You, Katori, Raike and Kyoukei have some projects to do
that he has in mind.” Yuki had once been one of six in a group, yet once him
and Akira left for different reasons, it was up to Kyoukei to take care of the
group. Being the nosy, control freaks they were, both Yuki and Akira did not
trust that Kyoukei could handle the job.
Yuki looked down at Yutaro's hand again, Yuki took his drink
again as he walked by him. Yutaro stood with a tilted head, thinking about what
it could possibly be that Akira would want to discuss when he realized that
Yuki started walking again. For what
reason did he steal his drink again, he wondered.
“Akira? Isn’t that Kyoukei's responsibility now, not his?”
He questioned, he didn't like how Akira was taking over again. “Kyoukei is in
charge now, not Akira.” Childishly he tried snatching his beverage back from
Yuki, feeling smaller next to him. Yuki was older than Yutaro, he was also more
mature and noticeably taller, and it was unfair to Yutaro.
Taking the final sips of Yutaro's beverage, Yuki handed back
to him, empty. A bright smile appeared on Yutaro's lips, until he tried to take
a sip out of it. Looking at the empty cup, he pouted looking back up at Yuki,
wanting to throw it at him.
“It’s just a follow up project to see if Kyou can handle all
of this.” He looked down at Yutaro again, placing his shades back over his dark
eyes. “Just do it so Akira doesn't get up set again. You know what happened
last time.” He flicked his hair, looking off to the side.
Yutaro froze up, standing stiff as a board. The last time
someone didn't listen to him, he freaked out, throwing things around, and even
giving their friend Haikara a bleeding nose. It took Akira hours to calm down,
and a ‘special treat’ that Kyoukei gave him. They were gone for hours that
night; to Yutaro, only one thing came to mind, and that was not something he
wanted to think about. When Akira and Kyoukei had returned, they were both
overly relaxed and laid back, almost satisfied. Yutaro thought they had left to
do sexual things be it with a random person or each other. With that thought
left in his mind, Yutaro shuttered, shivering to himself. Little did he know,
Akira and Kyoukei satisfied themselves in another, darker manner. That was when
they had begun the long chain series of murders that had started up in the city
of Tokyo. Kyoukei had started an addiction in Akira that, low and behold, he
could not control. The addiction was something he had never experienced before;
he had control over himself for years to prevent the addiction.
Yuki and Yutaro silently made their way to Akira’s meeting
place. Yutaro wanted to ask more questions about this project that Yuki had mentioned,
but he knew that it would just upset him more. Down the road, in matching dark
shades as Yuki and Yutaro's, came a man walking in their direction. He held a
certain strut, making himself seem bigger then he actually was. This shorter
man, stopped in his tracks, slipping a hand in his dress pant’s pockets.
Parting his lips, Yutaro looked up at Yuki after noticing
the man standing there, staring at them.
“Eh, Yuki.” Yutaro tugged on Yuki’s sleeve like a child.
“It’s Katori.” he stopped for a moment before darting off to Katori, shouting
his name out repeatedly.
He stopped inches from Katori, their toes almost touching.
He looked straight across into the reflection of himself in the dark
sunglasses. He was blank, holding the same look as Katori did, trying to
intimidate him. Staring at each other blankly for a moment, Katori had burst
out in laughter.
“Ah Katori, I thought you would be meeting us there.” He
paused a moment before looking back at Yuki. “He made it sound like you were
going to meet us with Akira.” Looking around, Yutaro and Katori stared blankly
at Yuki.
He folded his arms across his chest, narrowing his eyes from
behind his dark shades.
“Akira said this was your idea.” He became suspicious. Out
of all of them who associated with Akira, Kyoukei was his absolute favorite.
“You are jealous again aren’t you?” Katori and Kyoukei were close, so this did
not fly passed him so easily. With being replied to with silence, Katori rolled
his eyes, and turned around quickly, almost stepping on Yutaro's foot. Yuki was
up to something again, trying to get Kyoukei in trouble again, and Katori was
going to get to the bottom of this.
All three had left for their meeting in silence. In order to
not cause a commotion amongst each other, silence was their best option. Yuki
was not a fan of Katori, nor he of Yuki, and poor Yutaro was always stuck in
the middle of their arguments. It was always him and Raike stuck in the middle,
like the children of a custody agreement. Katori walked in front, trying to
assert his dominance over the man with a huge ego, Yuki. For the most part it
worked, except at every stoplight, Yuki walk ahead of him.
