It was raining, hard. The forecast had called for light mist
and partial clouds, they were wrong once again. Over 70mm of rain had fallen
already, and it had not even been raining a few hours yet; this was something
close to a monsoon season, if the country ever got one. Leaning the clear,
plastic umbrella over his shoulder, a young male was stuck walking from one
destination to the other. In weather like this, it was a person’s best option
to walk, the streets almost moved slower then the sidewalks. The flooding
streets splashed high under the tires of cars when they could advance forward.
Next to all the other umbrellas, this young man’s rose
higher then most, but only by a few inches. Though he carried an umbrella, his
golden brown hair was moist from the rain, misting up from the others around
him. The mist in his hair made it stick to his feminine face. As he parted his
lips, he took in a slow, deep breath of fresh, moist air letting out a long
sigh.
The young feminine male wore sophisticated clothing. A
fitted black blazer over a simple white t-shirt, his long thin legs were hugged
perfectly by dark washed jeans which looked to be made of real denim. A silver
linked chain hung from one side of his pants, completing his casual, yet classy
look. It did not matter what footing he wore, expensive and classy or casual
and comfortable, they would have still been soaked by the time he got to his
destination.
Home was his final destination, he had gone out for a few
errands, but this nonstop downpour had cut all down his long errands into
short, brief stops. The young male had glimpses shot up at him every now and
then from passer-byers who were all distracted from their focus off the ground.
His glowing golden skin was smooth and flawless, which made others double take
him for his beauty.
The man pulled out his super phone, a cell phone that had
more features than anyone could ever imagine of using, and opened up his
messages. As he walked he text quickly, looking up once and a while in order to
not bump into any cranky people who were having to endure this horrible weather
as ever one else did, walking.
“Hey Kanon, I couldn't
get your book, they didn't have any copies left. Sorry man.” Then male
looked up again, slipping his cell phone into his blazer pocket to keep it from
getting wet.
Off in the distance a crash was heard, echoing through the
streets making everyone look around, spiking their curiosity. The feminine, yet
masculine male looked up and around as well, looking to see which direction the
noise could have come from.
A vibration moved against his hand, making him pull out his
phone to look at it.
“That's fine
Shiroyuki, just get home before you catch a cold.” The male smiled and
slipped his phone back in his pocket, listening to his friend and trying to get
home as fast as he could.
Shiroyuki walked by a small scene of two people talking in
the middle of the road, holding newspapers over their heads. There was a minor
car accident due to the weather and were forced to exchange insurance
information. Inside the cars, there were people sitting, talking to each other
about how this weather was affecting everyone.
Inside one of the cars, were three men, none of them looked
happy to have been in a car accident. As their driver was talking to the woman
who crashed into them, all three of them eyed the woman, glaring at her.
Shiroyuki was a curious person, which is why he observed
this scene in the middle of the streets.
