“Then shall we go?”
“Yeah. We need to see if that what he's up to it again.”
“You're right Shuzaburo. He was definitely dangerous the
last time that happened.”
“Who do you think he would be getting them from this time?”
“Well there is that Smith guy he used to talk to before we
got him to stop.”
“You know that wasn't his real name right Ryoka?”
“Yes of course I know Taisuke.” Ryoka rolled his eyes and
looked up to Shuzaburo.
“We should go, time is ticking and who knows what he's
doing.”
The three of them looked to each other and nodded, leaving
as soon as possible was a good idea; George was a wild card and who knows what
he could possibly do if given too much time.
Running through the house, the three of them rushed to the
car with only their vital belongings such as keys as wallets.
Close to the edge of the city, where the newer buildings
were being built was where George's home was located. Near one of the cities
main highway entrances and the traffic bridges was a rather large, secluded
home. George's three story home had everything included with it; a double
garage for his car and his tables for work, an attic which was the third floor
for all of his collectables that were precious but not displayable, and a big
yard for him to kill time mowing.
When Shuzaburo, Taisuke, and Ryoka arrived at his house,
they were surprised to see that the lawn had not been mowed in a few days and
the flowers in the front garden by the door were wilting and drying up.
George was a proud artist and his garden was his second
pride; his simple flowers and clean planting soil was clean and sophisticated,
the garden lacking maintenance was out of the norm for George.
“Sh, Shu…” Ryoka looked from the back seat, leaning forward
as he shook Shuzaburo’s shoulder in worry.
Looking around the only house and its surroundings, the
scene seemed darkened, as if a dark aura had settled itself over the plot of
land of which was George's home. Shuzaburo pulled into the driveway, only to
see that George's car door had been left open; from the built spider web in the
crack of the door, it looked to have been left open for some time.
“Something isn’t right here.”
“Taisuke. Do you think he is alright?”
He looked from the passenger seat back at Ryoka.
“I'm sure he is fine Ryoka. We don't know if he has gone
back to what he was doing back then, and we can’t assume just because it has
happened before. He is out friend after all.”
Ryoka nodded and looked out the window at the darkened home;
he was imagining the worst and making himself more worried than he should have
been. Little did they all knew, they should have been worried enough to have to
call the authority.
“C’mon you two.” Shuzaburo removed his seatbelt and looked
over to Taisuke as he opened his door. “Let’s go.” He spoke as if they were
going to ‘take care of business’, as if George was a criminal of a sort needing
the act of vigilance against him.
Taisuke looked from Ryoka to Shuzaburo, nodding as he
removed his own seat belt.
“Let’s Go Ryoka.” He opened his door and stepped out of the
car looking over the hood to the front door. “Something really isn’t right. Why
does it seem so dark?”
“I know something seems off.” Shuzaburo looked up to the
sky, seeing that there were no clouds in the sky, nor were the trees from the
forest behind the house casting any shadows over the land. “It’s as if it is in
its own dimension.”
“That's not possible right? I mean science proves…”
“Science has its own way to play tricks on you Ryoka.”
“What about God?”
“God is just as possible as science. Right?”
“What?” Shuzaburo looked to Taisuke with furrowed brows,
suddenly being worried about George to talking about God and science.
“I mean, why is it so dark over his house?”
“You would think there is a reasonable explanation.” Taisuke
closed his door and leaned over the car.
“Its God.”
“I don't believe in god. But I pray this isn’t what I think
it is.”
“What!” Ryoka jumped out of the car, staring over the door
at Shuzaburo. “What do you think Shu!”
He looked back at Ryoka, a small glare in his eye. What he
was thinking was nothing like drugs like they were all thinking before, this
was much worse then they had suspected.
