Bokutachi wa Akuma: Chapter Twenty Four

Like the couple everyone thought they were, Raike and Yutaro walked down the road with their arms linked together. Yutaro with his beaming platinum blond hair, blinding everyone around him walked almost leaning his head on Raike’s shoulder. Raike, who walked with his hair that looked to be on fire and an accomplished smile on his round lips. He was liking the strange looks that they were getting from strangers all around.

Coming from a gathering at the studio with ‘Lucky 7’, Daichi and Ryota walked next to each other slowly, chatting about how great their mothers were, both were calling almost daily checking up on their sons. They were both so deeply in love with their hard working mothers, because they were supportive of their musical careers.
The park was peeking out from in between trees that had been surrounding it, the nice green grass was long and looked inviting. Happily tapping his shoulder, Daichi suggested that they go to the park for a few hours of relaxation after their meeting.

In the park, had already gathered Yutaro and Raike, taking up an entire bench in the large concrete sitting area. Yet again, they had others assume that they were a couple going on a cute date out in public. They sat across the table from one another, sharing a strawberry shortcake from a nearby bakery. Others from all around had stared at the two from their conversations or chess games, trying to figure out if the pair were gay, or Yutaro was a female.

Casually walking along the concrete path, Daichi and Ryota had already become accustomed to girls following them and people whispering amongst each other, trying to convince the other to get closer to them. The two, very different heighted boys wandered off into the square where all the tables were located. Seeing a free table near the edge of the court; it had a built in chessboard which was easily decided that the two would have a chess match for fun. Both of the boys took a seat quietly, ignoring the bantering around them.

Off in the corner, addressing their gazes to the two boys as well, the cute, round faced Raike and the feminine faced Yutaro looked to see what the sudden commotion was all about.
“Is that who I think it is?” Raike narrowed his eyes trying to see; his comment made Yutaro look over his shoulder, turning in his chair.

Yutaro turned around in his chair again looking back to Raike with a smile. He had to turn back around to take a second look at the two young boys.
“I think it is. Hey! GO Hei.” He sat sideways being able to address his friend and the two boys off in the corner. It was rare for fans to see two different idol groups out in public at the same time to them this was a bonus.

Raike and Yutaro as well as Haikara were told to find all the members of the new group, without the other finding out that they were told to find them. There was something about their aura that attracted Raike's and Yutaro's attention like everyone else, perhaps it was their bright, youthful spirits.
Everyone in the area was too embarrassed or too shy to approach the two, but Raike and Yutaro were not. The two rose, leaving their drinks and desserts on the table as they went to go greet and introduce themselves to the two idol boys.
The crowd of young girls parted slightly as the two other, youthfully attractive men approached their eye candy.

Daichi and Ryota were chatting to each other quietly, ignoring the groups easily enough until the two men approached their table, standing eerily close. They looked to each other for a moment silently, not knowing what to say to the other men. The two men held out a hand for each of the boys to shake. It was obvious that Raike and Yutaro were not shy at all.
“Hajimemashite. You are members of Hey! GO Hei aren’t you?” Bang on. Raike was normally very good with other musical talents.

Even though one was not up, their cover was blown. Daichi took Raike's hand to shake, as did Ryota with Yutaro. Daichi dropped his hand on his lap again, shifting to face the man.
“Hajimemashite. Yoroshiku onegaishimasu. I am Sasaki.” He was very cheerful and bright, it was obvious why he made a good new idol.

Ryota looked to the both of them, smiling brightly up at them as well.
“Hajimemashite. I am Nakada. Yoroshiku onegaishimasu.”he was just as cheerful as the other, yet he spoke with more energy. Ryota seemed like he had too much caffeine that morning, but it was how he always was.

Yutaro turned his head looking at Raike slyly yet sheepishly. The small smile in the corner of his lips seemed suspiscious in the least.
“We know who you are.” He sounded rather cocky, but to the younger males and females, they were no secret to the world. He spoke to the two newly risen celebrities, yet focused on Raike at his side.

Ryota sucked his lips between his teeth, biting down on them lightly. He looked to Daichi, hoping he would say something yet he only shrugged sheepishly. This left it up to Ryota to ask.
“What can we do for you gentlemen?” He was still cheerful, yet Ryota seemed more serious I his tone, hoping they weren’t reporters or anything. Having to deal with media without Mikiya's consent, they weren’t sure if they were allowed to do anything.

The two shorter men leaned their weight on one leg, leaning into each other carelessly. Raike placed a hand on his chin, trying to seem intimidating.
“Looking for one of your friends, what was his name again?” He looked to Yutaro.

Yutaro smiled from the celebrities to his partner, whom of which most knew they were celebrities as well.
“Rai, his name is Kaore Maruki.” He shifted and faced his partner. “You should remember that. Don't let Aniki know that you've forgotten.” He leaned over Raike's shoulder, whispering into his ear, continuing the conversation further. The cute looked seriously at the red haired mal, he normally was the absent minded man, but this time it was Raike.

Neither Daichi nor Ryota were expecting that. Most people would ask for Daichi or Mikiya. Both being newly born idols, they had assumed it would have been like any other job, do not give out other’s schedules or locations to strangers.
“Um, Kaore kun isn’t with us right now.” To be honest, neither of them knew where he was in the first place, it wasn't like they had trackers on each other. “If we could get both of your names, we can let him know that you were looking for him.” Ryota was being surprisingly kind to these suspicious characters.

The young men looked to the two idol boys, chuckling slightly at Ryota's comment. Raike leaned forward to shake Ryota's hand.
“Just give him a message for me. Tell him that we know, and it wont be long before he understands.” Ryota didn't take the man’s hand, he was weary of the man’s intentions. “Can you do that for me?” he dropped his hand back down at his side, finding it rude that the idol would not shake his hand.

Both nodded, silently. Daichi looked from one man to the other, noticing a certain gleam in their eyes. The gleam seemed to be something that they knew about Kaore, that they didn't.
“Sure, we’ll tell him.” Daichi looked up to the man, a dark shadow forming over his eyes. Now Daichi wanted these men gone, they were suspicious and not on Daichi’s good side.

The two men nodded, grinning slyly as they faced each other.
“Thanks.” They thanked the two idols simultaneously. Bowing together, Raike and Yutaro turned and headed off to their table again, only to clean it off; littering was never a good thing. Both were not the kindest of men, but they did care about the environment and the appearance of the city.

Though they were enjoying the rest of the day off, and a day out of relaxation, both Daichi and Ryota were concerned about Maruki now. They felt that he was in danger.
They got up from their seats together and quickly pulled out their phones. Daichi was quickly dialing his number to call him while Ryota was quickly texting him, hoping he would be home so they could talk to him in private. Pacing back and forth, Daichi was growing impatient and hung up the phone, only to call him straight back.

Daichi was the first to get through to him, he answered the phone wondering why they were urgently calling him. Daichi's worried and panicked mind was confused and almost forgot why he was calling in the first place.
“Oh! Two men approached us. Were in the park and they approached us!” that information alone was not nearly enough. The awkward silence that Maruki was returning was a key point that he was not understanding. “They were looking for you. They told us to tell you that they know. And um, that you would understand soon. Understand what? Does that mean anything to you? Maruki?” Daichi was getting over excited that he could almost not stop talking. His cute voice was shaking with worry for his older friend.

Maruki paused, trying to understand one thing at a time that Daichi was telling him. He looked down for a moment, blinking rapidly as he thought.
“What?!” Maruki understood perfectly what the men were talking about. They knew? How did these random people know? It was something that only him, Aiya and the two leaders of the group knew, as well as Ruka. How did those men find out, unless one of those who were informed had told them.  “Who were those men?” Maruki was shouting now, it was not normal, nor was it real, and it was definitely not something  that was to be released to the public.

Daichi was trying to explain but Maruki burst out so suddenly. He paused in hearing the urgency in Maruki’s voice. He shushed Maruki and hushed him quiet again so that he could continue explaining what they had said.
“I don't know who they are. They just told us to tell you that.” Daichi looked to Ryota who overheard Maruki's exasperated ‘WHO IS US?!’ Daichi's wide eyes squinted at his shouting. “Its me and Ryo chan here.” He looked around, noticing a growing crowd in the park square.
“Ne, Maa chan, where are you right now?” Daichi tapped Ryota's shoulder, telling him that they needed to leave. “We should talk about this in person.” Daichi spoke softly and caringly to Maruki.

Not that anyone would believe it, but if the secret that Maruki held was released, his, as well as his friends careers would be ruined. Maruki looked up for the nearest street sign or land mark around them.
“Um, we are close to Tokyo Tower. We were going to go get a new television stand, ours is breaking.” ‘We” always meant him and Aiya, everyone in the group knew that by now. Not only were they living together, like most of them did, they were also the oldest friends in the group. “Where are you guys?” Maruki had been calming himself down after taking a few long, deep breaths.

By now, Ryota was leaning his ear into the phone to hear Maruki speak. Daichi looked and shook his head.
“We’re in Shibuya.” Do you want to meet int eh middle?” by car, they were not far from one another, but seeing as neither Daichi nor Maruki drove, they had to rely on public transit.

Maruki nodded.
“Yeah I’ll call you when we are near there.” Maruki looked to Aiya who had wrote a note to him on his phone, showing Maruki that they should call Mikiya and have him to talk to as well. Maruki waved it off, giving Aiya a face; Mikiya did not need to be involved, he was busy enough as it was. “Ill meet you guys at Nishiazabu Station all right?”

Daichi and Ryota nodded, not that Maruki could see, and hung up the phone.
